Tim Stone brings a unique background to Crime Stoppers Global. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Tim spent years in law enforcement, has practiced law, and is now a business leader.
The majority of Tim’s law enforcement career was spent in Mankato Minnesota. He serves the community as a patrol officer and spent some time focused on juveniles. In addition, he taught active shooter, and crowd control. Tim also served as a member of the tactical team for six years.
While working as a police officer, Tim attended law school at night. After law school, he started working for a financial broker-dealer in the compliance area. Tim left that job to practice law but later returned to the broker-dealer profession. He ran supervision departments, until transitioning to the business operations side of the company.
Tim is currently employed as the Chief Operating Officer of Cetera Advisor Networks, LLC. Cetera Advisor Networks is the largest company within the Cetera Financial Group of companies. Tim has been with Cetera for over 8 years and is a seasoned leader.
