Myrle Carner recently retired as director for Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound, which serves an area of 4.2 million people in Washington State. He was with the Seattle Police Department for more than 40 years and served most of his career in the Criminal Investigation Division.

He is the former co-host of the CNN/FOX Radio police show, “Cop Talk Radio,” and was a noted Crime Prevention Specialist for all major networks on TV. Myrle has been a television spokesman for several police films, including Manhunt Live! Search for the Green River Killer. Some of his professional awards include an ASIS Lifetime Achievement Award and co-winner of an Emmy for the police movie NW Crackdown. Myrle has been selected to “Who’s Who in Law Enforcement” and is a two-time winner of the prestigious CSUSA/CSI Crime Stopper Police Coordinator of the Year award.

Myrle is the past National President for the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers, and for almost a decade, he served as a law enforcement spokesman for the Q13 Fox TV show, Washington’s Most Wanted.

In addition, Myrle is heavily involved in his community. He was the former President of Seattle’s Emerald City Rotary Club, committee member of the University of Washington Evans Scholars Foundation, board member of the Seattle Police Foundation, founder of the Aurora Kids Club Foundation, and currently serves as Director of the King’s High School Golf Program in Shoreline, Wash.

Finally, Myrle has given more than 1,200 public law enforcement-related speeches throughout the United States and Europe.
